Programme 2025
Themed on HOPE, we will be exploring how we can harness the power of collective hope to drive resilient, ethical, and sustainable transformation in our communities.
This year promises an exciting lineup of speakers, including internationally renowned activists like Jon Alexander (the author of CITIZENS), Phoebe Tickell (Imagination Activist, Founder of Moral Imaginations) and Thomas Coombes (Founder of Hope-based communication). The festival will feature art performances and cultural activities, masterclasses, networking opportunities, and a chance to co-create the conversation through an open space session, where you can bring your own questions, ideas, and experiences into the heart of the festival — enriching the event’s impact on participants, fostering a deeper connection to the theme of HOPE, and providing a true and comprehensive festival experience.

On the second day of the festival, multiple sessions will run in parallel across three different spaces at Sentralen: Marmorsalen, Forstanderskapssalen, and Kronesalen.
In Marmorsalen, you’ll find the lively heart of the festival: explore projects in the action hub, drop in on short sessions at the spotlight stage, or take part in dynamic conversations in the open space, where participants set the agenda themselves. Meanwhile, master classes and walk-in sessions will take place in Forstanderskapssalen and Kronesalen, offering deep dives and interactive formats led by experienced civic education experts.
