How can communities, institutions, universities and external actors learn to trust one another enough to act together? This Discovery explores how trust can be cultivated through long-term territorial practice and collective action. Using Lisbon’s Ajuda neighbourhood as a living laboratory, participants will discover how relationships, partnerships and shared initiatives can gradually evolve into a trust infrastructure capable of supporting cooperation, civic participation and democratic life. Through a guided walk, conversations with local actors and a participatory reflection exercise, participants will explore transferable approaches for strengthening trust in their own contexts.
