NECE Festival 2024: BORDERS
The NECE Festival 2024: BORDERS was held in Tirana from 14 until 17 November 2024 in collaboration with the Center Science and Innovation for Development. Civic educators from across Europe gathered to explore the multifaceted nature and significance of borders, reflecting on their implications for civic education. The festival offered a rich and engaging programme, including dynamic CUBE sessions, thought-provoking DISCOVERIES, and vibrant side events. The closing interview centred on the theme of hope, providing a glimpse into the focus of the NECE Festival 2025: HOPE, taking place in Oslo.
Programme
NECE Festival 2024: BORDERS offered three types of parallel CUBE sessions: Diving into dialogue, Inspire & engage, and Navigating the civic education landscape. Additionally, the programme contained the Bridging Gaps Award 2024 as well as a diverse offer of DISCOVERIES and side events.
