Alexsandro Santos

Alexsandro Santos holds a PhD in Education and serves as a National Director at the Brazilian Ministry of Education. He has an extensive academic background, teaching in the master’s and doctoral programs in Education at the University of São Paulo and at the master’s program at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (Unicid). He is affiliated with the Center for Bureaucracy Studies and the Public Administration and Government Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP), and is an associate researcher with the REIPPE Network (Studies on the Implementation of Educational Policies) and the REPLAG Network (Educational Planning and Management). He is also a member of the Municipal Education Council of São Paulo, home to the largest municipal school system in Latin America, with over one million enrolled students.
