Anja studied Political Science and Southeast European Studies at the University of Regensburg and Historical Urban Studies at the Technical University of Berlin. She initially worked for the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Sarajevo and later in Tirana. Since 2022, she has been working as a freelance writer and moderator, reporting from her adopted homeland of Albania.
