Bernardo is the founder and director of MyPolis, whose mission is to make democracy accessible to everyone. He has designed and implemented participatory processes in more than 60 territories in 8 countries and, together with the MyPolis team, has developed innovative tools to make civic participation simpler and more engaging for young people and children across Portugal and several other countries in the European Union. Bernardo is an Ashoka Fellow.
