Caitlin Semo

Caitlin Semo is Senior Vice President and Head of Partnerships and Events at the Edelman Trust Institute, Edelman’s in-house think tank dedicated to advancing the study and measurement of trust through the Edelman Trust Barometer research, partnerships, convenings, and content.  In her role, she cultivates relationships with experts and researchers across academia and nonprofits to inform, amplify, and evolve the Institute’s research on trust in institutions and leaders. Prior to joining Edelman, Caitlin managed social impact partnerships and special projects at (RED), Bono and Bobby Shriver’s global health nonprofit. In nearly 8 years, she managed the organisation’s partnerships with health NGOs and collaborated with (RED)’s corporate partners to develop impact-driven marketing campaigns focused on the fight against HIV/AIDS and COVID-19. Caitlin’s previous roles spanned community organising, political fundraising, and advocacy for numerous national and international nonprofits. Caitlin earned her B.A. in Politics from New York University and an Executive MSc with merit in Social Business & Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
