Daria Arlavi
Daria Arlavi is a policy officer in the Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture at the European Commission. Her work is centred on the European Education Area, with a particular focus on citizenship education. She coordinated the Commission’s Working Group on Equality and Values in Education and Training from 2021 to 2025. Before her secondment to DG EAC, she served as a diplomat, specialising in education, youth, and sports, and chaired the Education Committee of the Council of the EU in the first half of 2020. Previously, she held various roles at the Ministry of Science, Education and Youth in Zagreb, Croatia. Her academic background encompasses Sociology, Marketing, and European Studies.
