Dea has over 9 years of experience in research, communication, advocacy, and project coordination. Her work spans across Albania, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, and the Western Balkans, where she has been engaged in various projects in the fields of democracy, media, communication, European affairs and youth policy development. Currently, she works as a Project Coordinator at SCIDEV under the “Media and Communication” Portfolio and continues to be engaged as a freelance research and communications expert. In 2021, Dea joined the National Youth Congress of Albania, where she led the communication strategy and events of Tirana European Youth Capital 2022 programme. This macro-programme catalysed thousands of events and concrete actions for youth empowerment and development nationwide. Dea holds a Master of Science in Politics, Economy, and Philosophy from the University of Hamburg, Germany, and an executive degree in “Cybersecurity in a Global Digital Age: Policy and Management” from Luiss School of Government in Rome, Italy. She also earned a B.A. in Political Sciences and International Relations from Epoka University in Albania, where she also works as an external lecturer.
