Dulce Lopes is Project Manager at IPAV (Instituto Padre António Vieira), a Portuguese organisation that develops educational and social initiatives aimed at strengthening human dignity, participation and social transformation, with the Ubuntu philosophy at the heart of its work. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with an advanced specialisation in School and Educational Psychology. At IPAV, her work focuses on the design, implementation and evaluation of educational projects, with particular emphasis on socio-emotional learning, intercultural education and the development of children, young people and educators. She has coordinated projects in different educational and social contexts, including higher education and residential care, and currently manages the Ubuntu Intercultural project. She believes that meaningful educational experiences can strengthen relationships, widen perspectives and create the conditions for people and communities to grow together.
