Elif Güney Menderes
Elif holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Relations from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, and an MSc in Energy and Sustainable Development. During her senior studies, she spent a year at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, giving her a well-rounded international perspective. Her professional journey includes roles at the Istanbul Policy Center, the United Nations Development Programme, and her current position as a Program Manager at the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. Menderes specialises in political communication and community-building strategies, offering consultancies and training. Menderes has actively contributed to the political landscape, serving as the Field Coordinator for the Democracy and Progress (DEVA) Party between 2020-2024. In 2020, she founded the Human Rights Academy, demonstrating her dedication to advancing human rights and empowering marginalised communities through civic education.
