Jana Feherpataky-Kuzmová
Jana Feherpataky-Kuzmová graduated from the Comenius University in Bratislava (2010) and the Central European University in Budapest (2011), where public policy was at the center of her interest. She initiated and co-founded the Institute for Active Citizenship (IPAO) (2015), through which she fulfills her dream of a better world. She believes that education is the basis of positive change and that it is only through active and participating citizens that it is possible to improve things around us even where we ourselves have no direct influence. She is the author of the concept Schools Changing the World, which has long been popular with schools and recommended by the Slovak Ministry of Education. She received the European Citizens’ Prize in 2023 and was honoured by the Dutch royal couple’s visit, now being scaled as a social franchise inclusively in various environments in Slovakia.
