Marquerithe Schreuder is a wife and mother of two teenagers. She is a qualified actuary who worked as a consulting actuary at Deloitte & Touche. In May 2010, she resigned as a director of Deloitte so as to spend more time with her children and early childhood community projects. Since April 2013, Marquerithe has acted as a non-executive, independent director on the Hannover Reinsurance Africa Board (2013 – 2021) and the Discovery Limited Board (2021 to present).
