Merle Schmidt

Merle Schmidt is the specialist advisor for youth programmes and projects at the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ Foundation). In her work, she focuses on strategies and activities of youth participation in the context of international youth work and youth encounters. With a background in European Studies and Studies of culture and history of Central and Eastern Europe, Merle’s interests are also in history and civic education as well as cultures of remembrance.
