Oksana Shamonova, based in Bila tserkva, Ukraine is a specialist in sustainable project management, youth worker, trainer, and communication specialist. She is the President of the Ukrainian NGO ‘Et cetéra’ which focuses on advocating non-formal education and active citizenship as the way to develop the country. She holds a Master’s in Journalism (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine) and a Master’s in Sustainable Management (Universidade de Vigo, Spain). She has seven years of experience working in journalism and governmental communications and over seven years of work in the civic society sector – both abroad and in Ukraine. She completed an internship on project management in the UK (Lancaster & Morecambe College) and the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme in Spain. Currently, she is involved in leading an NGO in Ukraine. Her passion includes playing chess, expanding her horizons through travelling the world, learning new cultures, visiting concerts, making film photography, and implementing educational projects.
