Phoebe Tickell

Phoebe is a scientist, systems thinker, and founder of Moral Imaginations, a pioneering organisation dedicated to tackling the climate crisis by reimagining the world through collective imagination. Moral Imaginations provides thought leadership, runs programmes, and works with public and private organisations—including Camden Council, IKEA, and the London Marathon—using the Moral Imagination approach to shift mindsets and drive systemic change.

Central to this work is the concept of Imagination Activism, a term Phoebe created to describe a new kind of activism focused on creating transformative possibilities rather than resisting existing systems. Since 2021, Moral Imaginations has collaborated with over 50 organisations and trained more than 1,000 people in its methodology.
