Rui Nunes da Silva is currently president and CEO of IPAV (Instituto Padre António Vieira), a Portuguese NGDO that operates worldwide in building capacity and intervening at the level of human and relational capital in social, organisational, and community systems. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering by academic training and in Social Engineering by professional experience. Since 2008, he has collaborated in the implementation and management of various innovative national and international projects for capacity-building and social intervention, aimed at generating meaning and purpose in people and organisations. At IPAV, he leads a team of “Hope Tuners” who work hard to change the world, believing that “everything is impossible until it is done.”
