Sonja Jöchtl is initiator and co-founder of Love Politics, a cross-party leadership initiative that equips the next generation of local politicians with the skills, networks, and mindset to shape democratic communities. By actively promoting diversity in politics and fostering collaboration across political divides, Love Politics works to strengthen democratic culture from the local level up. Previously, she served as Managing Director of the European Forum Alpbach Foundation and led communications and advocacy at Caritas Austria for more than a decade. She is currently a Policy Fellow at the Complexity Science Hub (CSH) in Vienna, where her work focuses on strengthening the connection between science, policymaking, and society.
