
Vlora Rechica
Vlora works closely with the Western Balkans Director, assisting in daily operations and supporting the development and implementation of strategic and operational projects for his initiatives. As a Program Analyst, she contributes to shaping OSF-WB’s strategic interventions in the region and beyond. With a background in research and leadership roles, she previously served as the Head of the Centre for Parliamentary Support and Democratization at the Institute for Democracy in Skopje, North Macedonia, a renowned think tank specialising in good governance, democratisation, and European integration. As a co-founder of Stella Network, a non-profit organisation, Vlora is dedicated to empowering girls and women in their educational and professional journeys which constitutes the main drive for her activism. Prior to her current position, Vlora served as a Schuman Trainee at the Secretariat of the Committee on Foreign Affairs at the European Parliament where she contributed to initiatives concerning the Western Balkans. She holds a master’s degree in Comparative Politics with a specialisation in Democracy and Democratization from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
