Zsófia Gombár
Zsófia Gombár is President of SHEMA and Head of the Research Group on Reception and Translation Studies at the University of Lisbon Centre for English Studies (CEAUL/ULICES). She coordinates the project Remembering the Past, Learning for the Future and served as the Portuguese lead researcher for the international project DECONSTRUCT, coordinated by Andrea Szőnyi. Her research interests and areas of expertise include Holocaust education, censorship studies, translation history, the history of education, and the history of sexual minorities.
