Opening | 14 October

On 14 October, we open the NECE Festival 2026: TRUST with a day dedicated to dialogue and connection. After arriving and registering, participants will receive a warm welcome from THE CIVICS and its local partners, setting the tone for the festival ahead. The programme continues with a panel discussion exploring the many dimensions of TRUST, followed by a keynote address and Q&A from prominent speaker Michael Ignatieff. Day 1 ends with a musical performance by local artists (Conservatório Artallis, tbc), for a relaxed close to an inspiring first day.
